Vidahost Review (and bonus promo codes!)

Some time ago I moved JCH Web away from US based host iPage to UK based hosting company

Overall since changing I’ve seen a big boost in site speed, both front end, and back end, and have also found it much easier to make changes in cPanel. Additionally, I’ve also switched a few other WordPress sites over to Vidahost and every time I’ve seen some really positive results. Just take a look at the below snapshot from a Barnoldswick-based business that I moved to them – a 30% reduction in page load times!

What’s impressed me most about them is their customer service and support teams. I’ve had to email them for information and help with a couple of things and they’ve always got back to me with a few hours, and the support they’ve provided has been excellent.

I’ve been with them for a number of years’ now and I’ve only had once incident where my website was unavailable, and this was resolved incredibly quickly. They also have a status page that shows if they’re experiencing any problems.
Email account set-up was also pain-free, and I was able to transition all of my existing mailboxes to them without any problems. 3 basic webmail services are available, but to be honest I always set up my accounts under Gmail as I find it much easier to use. You can always contact their support team at if you get stuck with this.

Vidahost have kindly provided us with some voucher codes so if you’re looking at switching hosts, and have made the choice to use Vidahost then use the below coupon codes at checkout.
